He completed his MBBS at Government Medical College, Patiala, followed by an MS in Surgery from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and an MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology from SGPGIMS, Lucknow, one of India’s leading centres for gastrointestinal surgical training.
